DCEA will hold a technical seminar on automotive transmission technologies
To broaden the knowledge of members on automotive technologies, starting from this year, DCEA will hold a series of seminars on selected topics of automotive fields. DCEA is now proudly announcing that Mr. Joseph Chen will give a lecture on automotive transmission, present and future technologies. Mr. Chen now is the chief engineer of EDU group of Shanghai Automobile Company (SAIC).He has more than 30 years of experiences on developing and testing automotive transmissions. He published more than 10 academic papers and is holding 18 patents on transmission technologies. He will cover the current transmission applications, including manual, AT, AMT, CVT, DCT, and Hybrid, as well future technologies: e-Drive, HEV, EV train for fuel-cell, and other types. Based on his working experience in Chinese automotive industry, he will discuss about new transmission technology trends in future Chinese markets. It is a great chance for members working on related fields to collect information on now supper hot Chinese auto market, and an automotive transmission ABC lecture for members who are interested in the field of power train.
